Datta Temple Nearest Railway Station Gangapur Road
Station is very old build by brithishers and now it's reconstruction going on
-Jai Guru Datta- Pros: . There are sharing autos & taxis available for Devotees who come to visit Ganagapur dattatreya temple. . Fare from Ganagapur Railway station bus stand to Ganagapur dattatreya temple is 40 Rs.(21 Kms). .There will be special buses(Max 5 or 6) during festival season. . There are couple of small Tiffin center carts( Dosha,vada,chai etc). Cons: . Few auto drivers are drunk & they drive it without minding passengers safety. . Few drivers charge 40Rs,50Rs,70Rs..& they fight among themselves. . If you don't find any auto or u want to save money then sleep in the bus stand which is big.Early morning at 5 & 5:30am there starts a bus from Ganagapur Railway station bus stand to Ganagapur dattatreya temple.(Fare =30Rs). . Karnataka Govt need to be little serious regarding the development of transport for the pilgrims & infrastructure because 100's of pilgrims cross rail tracks to catch trains since no footover bridge is available.
