I had taken my mother for her cataract surgery.. She was pretty much nervous about it but the hospital staff was so friendly and made her feel comfortable. They have well equipped instruments for surgery. Prasad Netralaya is one among the best hospital for any eye related problems. I can highly recommend you to visit the hospital.
I went for a normal eye checkup for the first time there and they told me that I could go for laser surgery. They checked my eyes to see if they were suitable for ReLex Smile and they explained the procedure. The doctors and staff are very kind. Everything is well organized. On the day of the surgery, they took good care and they asked me to go for a follow-up checkup.
Cornea Staff were very supportive. Had excellent service from Doctors and faculty. I would recommend SMILE treatment for all those who are looking to get away from spectacles.
It was clean and organised. Doctors seemed to know what they were doing really well. All doctors made us really comfortable. All modern equipment and smooth cataract surgery experience. Processes were built and organised well too. There seems to be some grey area in terms of insurance support and that bothered me quite a bit initially as they were not entirely clear in genuinely explaining options to us. But, it went well in the end. There were some limitations from hospital end with the claim amount even though my insurer didn't and that was disappointing. Registration and other charges were minimal for a hospital of that reputation and in the end, we did feel better.
Good hospital. Being at the center of the city, it's a bit congested though we Indians are used to it anyway. :-) But managing the patient appointments needs a lot of improvement. There's a very long waiting period (to meet the doctor) which is quite unusual nowadays. Took my dad for his glaucoma test. Had to wait for 2+ hrs. Suggest to keep doctors' appointment time and their OT time separate. Otherwise, patients have to wait very long till the doctors are done with the surgery. Nevertheless, the staff courtesy and their handling of patients is certainly laudable and very commendable. Thanks to all of them.
