Very big, beautiful neatly maintained temple. God Perumal is in standing, sitting and in laying position in three story temple.
A One Man Army temple,fully managed by one of the Acharya's Vamsam..Periyanambi Vamsam.. Pay a visit ,then you will be getting amazed.
ONe of the ancient temples which was called Vedapuri in olden days- called Rajendra Vinnagar sometime back- and now called Mannarkoi. One of the greatest Alwars - Kulasekara Alwars was a king from Chera nadu (olden kerala) who visited several Vaishnavaite sthalams and finally came here. Veda narayana swamy looked like Srirangam Ranganathar to him and so he sa ayed here till he died. Sages Bruhu and Markandeya did penance here. The temple has Kulasekara Alwar & Ramanujar Sannadhis. Lord idol is in Ninra Kolam (standing pose) with height of 7feet with Sridevi & Bhudevi, & Pancha Ayudam; Also Sitting posture & Sayana Kolam( sleeping pose) in 2 Tier gopurams. Idols created in Mud and applied with Mooligai paint(green color). Nice temple. Must have darshan.
