It is perhrps the best eye hospital in Ballia with all modern and advanced equipments.Cataract surgery is performed with the latest Phaco Emulsification technique.And the cost is very reasonable. The staff is also very disciplined and good.Surely It takes quite some time to get examined here as there is a big rush of patients but the end result is very very satisfactory.
It's good as the treatment is available locally. In corona times, I had my mother's cataract operation here and it went well. But there is a catch, they said that they will replace lens of amount ₹24000 but when I asked for invoice, then they provided invoice of lens of amount ₹9500. Remaining amount ₹14500 was for doctor (8500) and operation(6000) charges. This break up should be provided before for transparency I felt like cheated when I received the invoice.
Very lazy staff...and not up to the speed. If you have whole day then only come to this place . They give numbers in opd but their is no sequence followed.

I visited this hospital on 5/Aug/2020 and as suggested by specialist ordered the glass at U D opticals, their own store for glasses and frames. I collected the glass next day. Accidentally, today (11/Aug/2020), the frame broke out. I moved to local optician shop to refix the same old glass in new frame and got a SURPRISE that UD opticals have fixed the glass with feviquick and so it cant be reused. Such a big hospital and its name is being destroyed by the workers at UD opticals. Hope these words reached at higher authority and they will give me a solution for this. Have sent pictures of my old glass to the store person. Please give me solution for this. I haven't given Rs1200 for the glass to be fixed with feviquick. Waiting for response.
