This fort is very ancient. Edit Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy reveals on the western hill in the village of Jafargarh. The fair is held every year during the month of Shravanam. Between the two hills, the village is a pleasant place to visit.

Historical place ...belonged, built and maintained by Kakatiya's during their reign. Zaffargadh village is located between 2 hills, and surrounded by the water canal ..to protect from enemies ...and fort walls at the entry points of the village. We can still see iron CANONS on these two hills and at crucial entry points. Temples: 1) Velpukonda Narsimha swamy temple -its Swayambhu temple ...very Powerful ...attracks many people ...good for trekking 2) Lord Shiva temple - built by Kakatiya's ... destroyed by treasure hunters 3) Godess temple - half unearthed idol ...gramadevata 4) Veerabhadra swamy temple ...on another hill destroyed by Rajakars before independence
