We have visited vizag steel plant in February 2020 as an intern for 15 days, we were alloted with different departments, I was in CMM(central mechanical maintenance) our guide sir has treated well, everyday we were taken to each of the departments like coco ovens, steel melting shop, forging foundry, vagon trippers, continuous casting, dolamite bricks, light and medium merchant mill, blast furnace and sinter, and many more.... The most wonderful is in here's canteen..... Really amazing food with very very low cost and the taste also will be very good including chicken, sweet,, this canteens are located for every departments. VSP-where you go full of machinery, noice, huge sounds,,,,,, in safety purposes at the entrance gate pass is must even for the vehicle you travel. Shoes, helmet is must to enter the plant,,,, trains, trucks, earth movers,, such a huge amount raw materials are been finished to goods like iron bars, gas production, electricity generation, theres a much lot about the experience in there,,,,,, but not so easy to get into the plant.... Safety is the first preference given in here.......
