I visited Leh in November and stayed in this hotel. The staff is very cooperative especially Mr. Rahul. They have given me a room with balcony and the view was very beautiful. Food is amazing over here. The only issue is about heating, please work upon it. If u can provide centralised ac or heaters it would be best. Highly recommended this hotel in summers.
No cleanness. No water in bathroom and room. No buffet system for breakfast and Dinner. They will not change the bedsheet and clean the room until you stay the hotel. No Lift . You will not get water in bathroom . They will supply the water in Bucket . Be careful with taxi driver and agent , they will take to that hotel .
Let's start with the facf that this is NOT a winter Ladakh travel hotel. Yes you will be provided hot water in buckets but the heating systems are a total disaster. At -15 you will need more just a halogen heater. Plus the hotel is extremely filthy with not a single clean piece of linen. The buffet area is very dirty. The only good thing is the food which is lip smacking but do yourself a favour and not pre book this place.
The best part about the hotel is the really good hot water available 24x7 and electric blankets (must have ehen visiting in the cold season). Service and food is decent. Rooms are a bit of hit and miss (hence the lower rating- no windows in room and not super well maintained). Another downside was the construction activity going on, might be an issue if staying in for some time in mornings (also dust factor)
Nice and very friendly staff(especially Shiva), tasty food but not recommended in winter because hot water has to be taken in buckets, and also no running water from taps and heater seems to be not useful at negative temperatures so pls beware
