This place is my most favorite because i have joined my first vessel here at this place, My career was started from here. And this is not any tourist place. It's an industrial place well known for JINDAL STEEL WORKS PLANT and PNP PORT.

This port is the main source of the raw material for the JSW Steel, Dolvi. This port is situated on the river Amba in Raigad district around 10km from Pen town. This port handles coal, limestone, iron ore, ammonia, clinker, steel coils, steel bars etc. efficiently. It is a mechanized port with conveyors and unloaders. This port is under expansion and is expected to handle 16.5 MTPA for FY 2018-19
