It's not exactly a Ford it's say I would say a small place which is remnant of the times when the colonial rule was there and these kind of small forts were used to overlook the sea and guard it from invaders overall it's a beautiful climb and it's a beautiful view of the sea you might you will also find some old cannons there. That is a small climb up from the last point and weekend parking is a issue so go on weekdays if you really want to enjoy the view
We were not sure about this place so we have decided to give a visit there. There was a locality of fishermen, and then on further reaches, a vast beautiful sparkling ocean with no crowd. It was beautiful as we can enjoy ourselves independently.
A small trek to an incredible view of the Arabian sea and a wonderful view. Difficulty level - easy to medium. View from the top of the mountain is the best. Since its misty during winters so wearing a proper shoe is suitable as it can be slippery if u don't have them
Secluded beach and a small hillock. Best time to visit early morning and during sunset. First and adjacent light house is a nice spot for photography.
Fort is closed since 2 years due to covid restrictions and it's not open to public till date. It's located up the hill, vehicles are advised to park at base since up there is limited parking. Road up to Fort is small pathway made of concrete. Walk to the Fort from base is just awesome, on one side you get good view of sea. Authorities should put board at base regarding Fort been closed.
