Patharkandi College is one of the leading Colleges of Karimganj district, Assam, imparting education in Arts and Science. Situated on the foothills of Rajbari, Patharkandi near Indo- Bangladesh Border. Actually the College is situated in a little bit remote place. I think this place is minus point for the students. Otherwise this College is playing a significant role for last two and half decades in the field of Higher Education of this remote region. Present Principal Mr. Manjurul Haque is a good person and very helpful towards the students. Lack of Commerce stream is another minus point.
