It's a mess! For a hospital to serve one of the biggest cities in valley, it can't even bear that burden let alone serve the adjacent towns/cities. It's always over crowded and mismanaged. It's just pathetic. The surgery room is like a butcher's shop, literally blood all over the walls, on the curtains, on the beds & is always low lit. The other wards are not even describable.
Good but not very good
Okay but little careless due to much flow of patients.
This hospital is good for the basic needs like fracture or bone dislocation even some skin care and minor infections and no more the rest will be provided by the private clinics of doctors which they will refer to you as the hospital lacks modern technology or if you are poor or about to die they will provide you an ambulance , so your patient might die on the way to another hospital in Srinagar as they don't want a bad record, so if you are getting in an ambulance they provide ,there you are about to die because they were too lazy to refer you early and they want no part of you.
