**SCAM-ALERT** Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! When you visit the L V Prasad eye institute to see a doctor, by default you will be asked to pay 1600 Rs/person consultation fee, stating you are registered in "super support" category. The fancier it sounds the crazy and decisive it is!! Actually there are three different plans to choose from for the consultation fee. The registeration team won't tell you and instead push you to choose "super support" plan. Plans are as follows: 1) GENERAL - this will cost you only 450 Rs for consultation fee. You find your sitting/waiting in crowded non AC room. 2) Support - This will cost you 600 Rs for consultation. (They say, The extra 150 Rs cost is to support a financially week patients ). You get seating/waiting on chair in crowded AC room. 3) Super Support - This will cost you 1600 Rs for consultation. (They say, The extra 1150 Rs cost is to support 3-4 financially week patients ). You get privileged seating/waiting on sofa in AC room. The scam here is that the registeration team don't tell you that there are other cheaper packages to pay for consultation fee and push you to pay for "super support" category, stating prices have increased for every thing and so the consultation fee is so high. One the positive side, Quality of doctors are obviously one of the best and so people visit this hospital. I wont suggest anyone to not visit this hospital. The doctors are really good at their work, just be aware/careful of the scam and don't get conned by registeration team.

The hospital has full of greenery with professional staff. They follows covid protocal like no one around. I visited for my mother with prior appointment. They carefully follows the appointment procedure with a tag for patients as well as attendants. Such a beautiful place. Rest of the places should adopt such a professional procedure as followed by LVPEI.
Treatment wise it is very good but the reception team is very irresponsible and careless they doesn't respond to email.
Well maintained,supportive staff and they are doing great service by offering the free treatment for the people who cannot afford it.
