Science Center is a famous multi-facility complex in Surat, Gujarat built by the Surat Municipal Corporation in 2009. It houses a Science Center, museum, an auditorium and a planetarium and also has restaurant and rooftop solar powered plant. Dedicated Fun gallery is also displayed there. More than 3,000 tourists come here to visit The Science Center. There are many other tourist attraction. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Museum It has about 8400 antiquities in wide categories of wood, porcelain, copper, bronze, textile, coins, paintings, manuscripts, sculptures etc. The museum was developed to showcase the past of Surat. It also has auditorium to screen documentaries on the history of Surat. Planetarium Located on the first floor, it was built in the shape of sphere with seating capacity of 140. It facilitates the observation of moon, stars, planets and other heavenly bodies. Personal view: It was great to learn about Science and Technology and the maintenance was excellent. It is a place where learning is fun. Children that too hundreds of them in a group don't get tired for hours together. Whosoever planned and designed this must be a master mind.
What’s not to love about a place that has so much enlightenment to offer. Home to a fabulous planetarium that hots 3D as well as 4D shows, the Science Center and Science Museum is simply incredible. There are various shows with varying themes, depending on the time of the week youare visiting. Nevertheless, all shows are highly educative, thus making it a great place to take the kids to. The fact that is a multi-facility complex elevates its allure. However, the science centre is the main part of this complex. There is a Fun Science Gallery that hosts various informative exhibits. Specially dedicated galleries of space, diamond and textile remain the main draw of this museum.and so beautiful to science center..
Good but that much......too much big space and you tired to walk everywhere.....last space sphere Shaw was best.....but movie quality was soo poor......i think it's near 240p....but it's also too much big.......... Best place for kids.....for there science tour..... And moreover experience was good. Atleast try once..
Nice place for children to learn about space. Even elders will learn a lot. Well maintained. Free Parking available. Wheel chair accessible from road side. Life door is there in basement parking but lift facility starts from ground floor. Clean washrooms. Drinking water available. Much less crowd so easy to see everything.
