# Its such a pleasent stay at Tulsi, i have been visiting this Homestay since 2017-2021 - Stay is meant for Friends & Colleagues - Stay is suitable for Family as well * This location accommodates guest with a perfect & peaceful stay, inclusive of Home made food ( Veg / Non Veg ) * Located walkable distance next to Chikmagalur Check-post. * Walkable access to all the shops with basic needs ( Medical / Hotel / Bakery / Liquor ) * They provide campfires facilities as well * They also provide outdoor games as well * They also arrange Jeep / Vehicles to Travel to tourist locations on chargeable basis * Care taker / People at House cleaning & Dinning are very good in helping out guest needs. Best part of this homestay is it is very near to the check-post that one has to cross to see all the points - Mullayanagiri, Jhari Falls, Z Point etc. During peak season, it helps to by-pass the traffic. This definitely helped us when we travelled during long weekend recently. Secondly, Jayanth and his wife is a super host. Very polite and helpful. He arranged bonfire at night and if you want, he can also arrange for food & drinks (with extra pay) Breakfast and Dinner comes with the package, food is homely! You can roam around the estate that belongs to the owner. If you go during the coffee season, you can see coffee and pepper grown on the trees from your room window as well that opens on the backside of the estate. Tip - For someone, who doesn't want to drive all the way for sightseeing, you can hire a jeep for the full day that will take you to all the points. This is helpful because it relieves you from the tension of parking and finding spots everywhere, especially during the rush hours. And the driver knows the way much better than us as it is a mountain area and sometimes people drive like crazy. Plus, you are free to enjoy the serene Chikmagalur.
