Visited for polio vaccination (OPV) for travel to Africa. I called the lady Manjula who administers the vaccine and she told us to come on Saturday between 10.30 and 12. We reached there and the entire process was completed within 10 -15 min. Very efficient. Make sure you take your passport.
Went to the Dasappa Hospital for Oral Polio vaccination for me with an Impending Africa Travel. I went into some random room and asked for directions - the staff there was courteous to give me directions. The lady at the Vaccination counter was very courteous and efficient - just asked for me Passport copy, entered in a register, wrote out the Vaccination certification (required for travel), administered the drops, asked me to sign the register, handed over the certificate. It was all over in about 5 mins. No crowd, no waiting, no nonsense. That was a great relief after the chaos, going round and waiting I had to suffer for the Yellow Fever vaccination at the Public Health Institute today!
They administer OPV on Wednesday only. Please visit to Room Number 18. The staff in charge is very good and courteous.
