Needs improvement at higher level.. Unfortunately Doctors aren't present during night hour's if and when present they might be dental ,FMPHW students are on board and hospital authorities take night duties from them.. In short it needs a lot of attention as people from district shopian suffers a lot due to lack of facility,
District Hospital Of Shopian needs a lot of work regarding it's functioning. Testing facilities, well qualified doctors and medical staff should be available 24\7.
distric hospital in shopian is single hospital in kmr, where facilities like testing, usg etc machines are not working. less staff, qualified doctors are not available etc Inshort DHS only hospital in kmr where basic facilities are also not available.... So I am requesting the health dept kmr plz provide basic availability of health care, Like Gayno dpt (atleast 3 experienced doctors and nurses) , surgery dpt, OPD (with atleast 3-4 experienced physicians ). And at least 3-4 usg machines, ecg, X ray machines etc and other testing facilities
Shopian district has a 3.5 lakh population and the DH is the lone health centre where there is a 24-hour operation theatre (OT) facility, which too was started during the Covid19 pandemic this year.... Shopian District Hospital (DH) has a single surgery table, which not only creates problems for patients who are forced to wait for their turn for days, it also frustrates the doctors who are unable to do their duty because of lack of a basic necessity.
