India's one of the biggest Railway Station with more number of platforms and amenities. But it lacks in providing the Quality Services like the waiting hall A/c is too much crowded, needs more cleanliness and another waiting hall is necessary. Also, They are lacking in giving the train information at the right time.
secure place and lots of parking available.. Be aware from Thieves... Try to comes before 1-2hours Their actual timing of train. Because of crowded place.. not easy to get entering in station premises..

One of the busiest railway station catering the needs of Indian railways. This is the base of almost all the Rajdhani Express, the prestigious train series which connects the States Capital to the National Capital. With 16 platforms, this is amongst the largest railway stations in India. Connectivity isn't a issue here. One can reach here by road or by Delhi Metro.
COVID ALERT: Try to reach atleast an hour before the scheduled departure as there is quite a long queue and they allow only the people with the valid tickets (no relatives allowed, not even platform tickets available). Attached a video too for your reference. One can get trains to almost every part of the country from here. The platforms are nice and tidy. In addition to that it offers a walking distance to the nearest New Delhi Metro Station from gate no. 1. One can get auto/taxi from here 24*7. Tip: If you are booking Ola/Uber, I'll suggest you to book from outside the railway station compound, since the charges would be comparatively higher if booked from the station premises.
