BEWARE OF POTENTIAL THEFT! I work at a private equity firm that engaged an employee of Mangalam to help us organize our CRM data. The quality of work was poor and not close to what we asked for. Once the employee at the agency was notified of this, they said they could not refund for the work, but that they would work double the hours for the normal price to make up for the bad performance. The employee proceeded to not respond for a month - citing a family emergency. Our firm asked for our money back as no helpful work whatsoever had been completed and said if we did not receieve our money back we would report the incident to the contracting site and leave a bad review as billing hours that did not produce what was promised (and in the end no work at all besides the first unhelpful product) is theft. The employee then reponded and claimed we were "threatening them" and suggested we "mind our words" as if it was our fault that they did not complete any work or communicate the issue.
