Covid vaccination drive at this place is well organised. Vaccination center is at community center which is adjacent to phc building. There is big open space so parking is not a problem. Vaccination is in a big hall. Once you reach, there are staff/ volunteers who guide you through the process. Your details are recorded and it takes just 10 minutes to be through with your vaccination. Quick and fast.
Horrible place. Total chaos. No social distancing. Staff is highly arrogant. I repeatedly asked how to get vaccination for 45+. But no one was able to answer correctly. Tokens being issued at entrance. But vaccination is not as per tokens. The staff who is supposed to vaccinate was sitting idle most of the time. In a day she can vaccinate 1000 people. But she just sits and passes time. The system of searching details on mobile is pathetic. A doctor has been given charge of managing vaccinations and helping people. But she was busy whole day in personal phone calls. Patients come to her for queries and she is occupied in calls of officers and her known persons. Why employ such so called doctors? The centre must be handed over to private company or a NGO.
Went there for the vaccination. Quite clean, given that it's a government facility. Separate queues for Under 45 and above 45. Only online appointment are eligible for under 45. For above 45 if it's your second dose then walk-in are allowed.
Went for 1st dose of vaccination today. PHC premise was clean. Policeman was dutifully asking 2 queues for above 45 and above 18 groups and distancing. But there was space constraint. Still, PHC Staff was good, efficient and helpful. It was done within 1 hour. Online appointment is mandatory for 18+ group people. Parking may be an issue, but manageable.
