One of the most well maintained and lively fort and museum. Tour guide, facilities, cleanliness, all at its best. Fort is huge and require stamina to walk through the whole premise. There is elevator too available. Souvenir shop is really amazing, you would fall in love with jewels and show pieces. Refreshments available too in a small but classy setting. Tour guide is required if you want to understand the historic importance.
Enjoy the historic view of this beautiful fort. Tickets 200rs each. If you need guide extra 100-500rs. If you have someone in your family who can't walk properly I would recommend not to take them up because it might tire them. It's full of museum few interior detailing. Everything is well maintained.
Beautiful palace. Good roads and lots of parking available at the fort. The fort has a lift for Rs 100 per person, for elderly people or if you do not want to trek a small but steep distance. If you are visiting during evening you can catch a good sunset from the fort as well
First time I Have seen in India a fort so well preserved and maintained. Tourist trail is done very much professionally through the fort. Their guides are very well trained professionals. Best thing in fort are their miniature painting collection. The overall experience is comparable if not better than most of European forts and palaces.
One of the largest forts of India, this fort calls for at least one visit in your lifetime. Massive and elegant architecture and historic Royal exhibits are real gems of this museum. A guide (human/audio) would enhance one's knowledge and visiting experience. A really great way to come face to face with Indian history.
