Last station of Howrah route. Railway (SECR) has maintained all the necessary amenities here. Cleanliness is good and staff behavior is courteous. After station, you'll feel lack of means of transport (just autos available, no cars etc.). Station is having large pay and park areas of both platform 1 and platform 8. Recommendation - Work visit. Nothing to roam about.
A place of moderate size and moderate daily passenger traffic. Not a big trade or corporate center. The railway station also of moderate size and moderate in terms of amenities and other parameters.
Main junction for east and south line. This is one of the busiest station in Maharashtra. The station is well maintained in cleanliness but people are not following rules and throw garbage and split kharra in basins. One more thing the first class waiting room is only on PF no 3/4. Remaining you dont have facility in first class waiting room. The escalator is closed almost all time.
At present time in this railway station conditions are very well & provided good facility also.
Should try tea ☕ 70% of saler will have good tea.
