It is a brilliant place for someone who is interested in having a look at Persian calligraphy and to understand in detail the possible interpretations and presentation of calligraphy in medieval India. There is also a learning center there for kids wanting to learn the same. It was a very interesting experience.
We were in Tonk and was bored as hell because there was not any interesting thing around us, some locals suggest this place and we checked it out and got a lot of knowledge about the city, its culture, history and rulers. All the important and historical documents, stamps and coins are here in display an old hand Operated fan hanging there was most interesting thing, also a hand written big holy book (Qur'an) was the main highlight. Highly recommended place to visit if you are in this historical city.
There is also a large Holy Quran present in the Arabic Persian Research Institute Tonk which is very beautiful.
One of the best place for manuscript lovers. Only institute for Arabic and Persian language research.
Really amazing and rare pictures and arabic calligraphy
