Ambuja Cements Limited setup a small temporary office here to manage the operation of their coal block named Gare Palma IV/8. Office was inaugurated recently sometimes in November 2017. The coal block was awarded by Ministry of Coal through coal mine allocation. The block will be a mixed mine (OC & UG) with initial production capacity of 1.2 million (0.7 from OC & 0.5 from UG) tonnes per annum.
