Education wise I have no experience here. All I can comment about is the environment and surrounding of the place. Yes, this place is magical for hangout during evening. Roads are well equipped and the trees beside the roads make it more mesmerizing. University market is a perfect place get all your needs and wants. One thing I don't like about this place is that there's not much option for quality food. Otherwise rest is fine.
Although I do not have any educational experience here, but I believe that its NIRF rank will speak for itself. However, I was awstruck by the beauty and cleanliness of the campus; it has a really fine educational surrounding. The campus is covered by lush greenery which is really beneficial for the health. Overall, it was really a very nice experience at the campus.

If you think GU is the best university then you are totally wrong. I have never worst a university like GU. Care about your money and wanted to get a quality education then go for another university but not GU. Worst worst and worst Gauhati University.
PLEASE, for the love of God, if you love your own life and sanity don't take admission here. And tell everyone else not to either. Please.
