Amazing place to live! I have lived here since my childhood. This place is close to Chandigarh, the state capital, have mountains nearby and also plains on the other side! Being just on highway had it's own benefits! Local markets are great and everything is available.
Local buses go inside thee derabassi premises. Busses of haryana government not go inside they stop outside of it. They pick and drop passenger outside of bus stand. If you are going towards hisar, sirsa, delhi, rajesthan, kurukshetra etc. Then you have to wait outside.
Local bus service is good, from time to time, there is bus for Chandigarh
