Govt. Polytechnic Kanpur, UP, is one of the best polytechnic. There is no substitute of this Institute. I have passed out in 1980 in Mech engg under principal of shri LM Dey / G Singh HOD.
Govt polytechnic is shifted near RTO office. This place has become Kanpur Metro Yard
