Station is good, service is also ok. But, you will face a lack of food stalls & Fans for passengers. Trains are very frequent & also the platform is very clean. Announcement is ok type.
Bally railway station is a Kolkata Suburban railway station on the Howrah-Bardhaman main line. It is located in the Howrah district of West Bengal, India. One of the main connecting station for Salt Lake. It is also the junction of Bardhaman main and chord line. This is a connection between Sealdah and Howrah line also. The main problem is the chord line paltform and main lien platform are separated. Station is well maintained. To come to Bally station from Salt Lake side or Airport, after getting down from the bus in Bally bridge, follow the path to station which leads to the ticket counter. There are subways (genaral for all transport and get waterlogged during rain) and overbridges connecting to the main line platforms as well as chord line.
