Well maintained and protected place. If u find difficulty for searching the hotel, you can use the VOC port trust's canteen. It is about 400 meters from coast guard station.
Coast guard office
It is a base station of Indian Coast Guard comes under District Head Quarter 13 Puducherry under Coast Guard Region East ( Chennai). It is situated near the VO Chidambarnar Port Trust. The station is developing at it's best. A new administrative building has been built and inaugurated in 17th of July 2018. A new inliving block for the sailors is under construction as of today . A new dining hall for station staff's is also under construction.
