Dotma, situated on the bank of the river Longa, is a very beautiful place as well an important place since long. It is much famous as it is one of the epicentres of Bodo politics. It is the birth place of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma and many other well famed politicians, academicians and social activists.Now it has been declared as a city of Kokrajhar district.Here so many educational institutions are established to impart education amongst which our college, which is named after Bodofa U. N. Brahma.The health sector of Dotma is also good having a hospital and well equiped Doctors. One of the famous physicians is Dr. Barman, who treats poor patients without taking any fees and treating others with Minimal fees.Other Important offices are also here at Dotma. Hope in the coming days Dotma will be a prosperous city.
