Don't expect your child to be a bookworm.. it is too dangerous.. This school gives more space to student to learn how to serve this society.. The broad class rooms , playground and laboratories are sure to strengthen your child physically and mentally.. Recently they have appointed well qualified teachers.. More buses are assigned in various routes , so that student can easily reach school in times.. i assure this is the only school makes students to be more obedient.. Fees is very very less comparing to other self financing school.. Alumni association is there to improve school in all the way.. Many old students are supporting the school by funding even from abroad.. The only school which offer free medical facilities with in the campus. So what else you need?

Did my 5th grade in the year 1987.Those times it was one of the best matriculation school in Mohanur surroundings. School is very big in terms of buildings and play ground. Playground is really big as we would long for the sports period. All the needful facilities were in place those days. The only thing we missed in those era was the technical gadgets, if we had it then the glimpse of the school would have been captured and saved to preview it to our kids now. In fact it was competing with the schools in Namakkal town also. It was evidenced that students from Namakkal travelled to study here. The teachers were kind, strict, knowledgeable & did their duties with utmost care and service. It was administered with proper planning, works were allocated in due manner, rules were in place and the system was effective with true leadership to bring effective results from the students in academics, cultural and sports. Majority of the students were from farmers background as the school was built to cater education to the Sugarcane growers in the area. But it was not restricted to farmers alone where in other students also studied here from nearby villages. Bus facilities were there for students. The school was on song for quite some time as most of the people who are in 40 to 50 years now in Mohanur and nearby villages could have studied in this school for at least a year. Good news is that School completed its 40th year anniversary recently. Now the sad moment is the school was not able to cope up with the modern era. New schools were coming up with good facilities which SCSM could not compete with due to its funds constraints from the government. Also it is aided by the Government so it has got its own fate.
