A century old government school
My school is the best school in the world,in which I read class 8 to class 10 from 1968 to1971. All the teachers of the school were very kind full and best. I love my school to much till today.
Government Victoria Memorial High School, Hailakandi is the oldest school in Hailakandi District. It was established during British Period in the memory of Queen Victoria. All the successful person of this district such as Professor, Doctor, Engineers, Politicians etc. are from this school. But, in recent decades the school lost it's glory entirely due to the failure of administration, the school became a hub of Election and other government work transit camp. Now the school have probably more number of teachers than students.
School days are still fresh in my memory.
