Just 30 minutes drive from Dindigul. In this forest you cannot find out one single Sandal wood Tree. All of them are rooted out by smugglers. Now animal hunting is some what controlled. A year back people from Thavasimedai hunted monkeys for food. And hunted Bison calfs for meat. They did it with the Guns without Licence. Now forest department have almost controlled it.
In Dindigul for the youngsters is the best place to dive and visit not much facilities available in hill top.. not proper hotel facilities . for staying rooms are available but little expensive. We need to keep clean. Government also need to support and development.
