It is an old and famous school in Nagaon town. Once parents felt glory to get admitted their children here. But now it has lost its ancient glory. Now people do not show their interest to it. But it is not a final judgement. Jointly efforts of teachers & gradients may revive the old reputations of this school.

It is gd school for hslc. I am passed out from this school. It gives me lot in my life. Thanks to the teachers and the school for giving me this opportunity to passed out from this school 😍☺🙂

Govt.urban High school was a venture school upto 1990.In the year 1990 It was taken over by Govt.Total six teachers,one clark was apponted on 23 - 10- 90.Before that the teachers served in venture state National awardee teacher established this school.This school was very good Dipika laskar was H.M.from 1998 to 2012.DipikaLaskar was upgraded as Principal in Govt Boys H.S.School,Nagaon in the year 2012 on 1feb'2012.Rohini Borah is now I/CH.M. in this school.
