Tamil service timings: Sundays 8:30AM - 12PM. The Salvation Army Ambattur Tamil corps is a project in progress. The newly built church is open for services, and the building is soon to be completed. Very spacious and airy church also houses an extremely friendly congregation. The church also serves lunch every week after the service. The Salvation Army with its vast expertise could’ve designed the building more green and minimising the waste generation. Power efficient LED lights could’ve been used instead of the old tubes and fancy chandeliers. Salvation Army churches continue to stick to their old design of high stairs, a bell atop the tower and no elevators for old people.
