Ariyalur is popular for cement. We can call it as cement city. It is one of the small district in Tamil Nadu. Real estate business is good in this place. Maximum area is occupied by limestone mining company like RAMCO, TANCEM, ULTRA TECH, DALMIA, CHETTINAD, MARUTHI CEMENTS etc. Agriculture is alive at few areas .
Very Good Railway station. Neat and Clean. Dust bin available in All the platforms and one near to another. Always Ariyalur Railway station maintenance is very good. There is water supply and rest room. Sitting arrangement All are nice. Only the problem during Night more mosquito 🦟 bites. Very difficult to sit. Need to improve only to reduce mosquitoes. Thanks
