Good teaching
I am proud to say that I studied in this great educational institution during 1951-56, then known as M.H.S.Mayavaram. It was most popular and well known as one of the best schools in the then Thanjavur district. We had great teachers like Messers MRK Sir, Sethurama Iyer, Thevar (Maths), Ramalingam Pillai, Ramasamy Pillai, Ramasamy Iyer (Science), Ramani Iyer, Sundara raman MABT, Narayanasamy Iyer and others. And our Head Masters were Mr NS Krishnamurthy Iyer (NSK) and Mr Seshagiri Iyer ... I was staying in Hardinge Hostel. Oh what a wonderful period it was in our life. Teachers were so kind and concerned about the students' progress, welfare and overall development (of course strict). How lucky I was to have been blessed to be a student of this school. I remember those wonderful teachers and pay my respects to them who made me what I am now ...
