Amazing and mysterious church in a tiny area includes school and other buildings, st Francis Xavier held a mass in this church!! Can't believe that but it's true. Another big surprise was the tomb of Martyr Devasahayam Pillai, eventhough church is knowned in the name of St Xavier. This church is famous for its festival days as thousands of pilgrims are visited on those days. Church buildings are repeatedly renovated, so that the ancient structure is not seemed anywhere which is quite disappointing.
