Kamal Thadani – in the last week

Did not know that this hospital existed. Had the unfortunate opportunity to help a friend whose nephew was brought in as an accident case by a stranger. While the parents could fly in the boy was admitted and already the treatment was underway when I arrived. Seemed like a small lobby but that is misleading since the actual hospital is above. The ground floor is just emergency and casualty section with reception. Staff seemed helpful and willing work with given constraints of the situation and with humanity towards the patient. Overall I felt that the boy was in good hands. Incidentally the hospital was dealing with 5 similar cases of accident due to bad road conditions in the same spot on the highway in one day.

The doctors are good and helpful. However the overall process, specifically billing desk and reception is very slow. Not only that, personally found them not trained, lack of coordination and low motivation. One discharge process , without insurance, they are taking time over 2.5 hrs and counting. I have been approaching the desk and I am being sent back by saying we will call you when things are ready every time. In between they misplaced the charge sheet as well. Other than that the sub staffs and the sisters - ward boys are very helpful and approachable. In terms of Hygiene, it is good. However the ward bathroom needs ventilation. This review is completely on my personal experience.

All tests related to diabetes can be done under one roof. Staff is quite helpful and polite. Only one issue I have faced related to annual check up is that doctors from whom we were taking consultation are leaving the hospital roughly after one year due to some reason. In short "Attrition rate" is quite high which hampers consultation.

One of the worst hospital to visit, overall process is so slow that you end up wasting your entire day even if you went for quick checkup. They keep prirotizing there know people and literally no one to listen. The checkup price is so high that ordinary people cannot afford it. When he went to check, I had taken a day off from my half day office but my whole day was spent there. One thing is there is a canteen, so we can have a meal.

My wife was diagnosed with diabetes during her 8th month of pregnancy and we visited Dr. Shraddha at Chellaram hospital, she is a fantastic person and takes really good and personal care of the patient. We both are very happy with her promptness and suggestions. We both wish you all the very best Dr. Shraddha. You are really a lovely Doctor and I highly recommend everyone to consult her. This is my personal opinion and experience.
