Jalore fort made its own identity in history. To conquer this fort, the Sultan of Delhi himself, Alauddin Khilji, also attacked here.Although despite being a small princely state, if the Sultan of Delhi Alauddin Khilji himself attacked here, then the reason must be special and that reason was one-sided love.It is said that the daughter of Alauddin Khilji had fallen in love with Veer Veeramdev, son of King Kanhaddev of Jalore State and had also made up his mind to marry Veeramdev.But Veer Veeramdev turned down their marriage proposal. This was the only reason that Alauddin Khilji himself attacked the Jalore Fort.Although being a small princely state, Alauddin Khilji had to struggle a lot in conquering the Jalore fort. It took them many days to reach this fort.This fort used to be so proud in history, but at present the condition of this fort is very bad.However, due to the absence of a ropeway here, it is a very difficult task to climb this fort.And if you reach the fort in any way, then after that you are going to feel only disappointment in your hands because at present the condition of this fort is very bad.Due to the constant neglect of the administration, this fort has remained only a ruin.
