In 1982, Sir Mohammed Ahmed அமீது சார் was our class teacher who took English subject who had been a football player in his college days. He was a bold nature but unknown reason fond of me. He spent his classroom looking my eyes. I was also interested to observe him. Two rows were in the class room; left row for 1st year and right row strictly for 2nd year. I could remember a lesson from the English subject 4th or 5th lesson 'Simonides', was a great discussion then that how to pronounce it. In our class room we pronounced சைமொனைட்ஸ் but neighbouring class they pronounced சைமன்டிஸ். I don't know my Greek world people that how they pronounce their poet Simonides of Ceos. Regards அமீது சார்
I studied there for eleven years
