Hindu Divine place under Archeological society of India control. A UNESCO designated World Heritage site. Needs at least 2 hours to walk through all parts of the temple premises. In non crowded condition, for offering prayers should take 1 hour. If you are an architect, you can think of doing PhD based on the architecture here!!!
This temple needs no introduction. This is one of the architectural marvels of India. The main deity is Lord Siva and he looks majestic... Temple is managed very well. You at least need 3 to 4 hours to walk around the temple. If possible visit the temple post 6PM...

Ever lasting wonderful Chola period architecture.. You need a full day to cover all the points in the temple.. But sad that our people do not understand the value and importance of this place and use this place as a usual time pass picnic spot.. Request authorities tighten the controls in and around the temple so that people do not spoil the places.. We have to educate the people about the significance of this greatest temple.. 🙏🙏
