It was a pleasant stay.. Staff was kind and polite. Rooms were clean and sanitized well. The Owner and his concern towards the guests was so admirable. They will provide us Autos for the visits with minimal price for the site visits. 24/7 the manager responds to the call, In case of any emergency.

Best place to stay. Carried my 5 month old for a trip to kanyakumari and the stay was very good. The owner is very humble. He directed us to the room. The manager was very helpful. The food was also very good.
I got carried over by the "Treebo" brand, but this place is a private Home stay with a basic tie-up with Treebo. While the "Maple" rooms are decent, there is much needed for it to retain the "Treebo" brand - not electric kettle, no tea bags - not even a complementary bottle of drinking water. The complementary breakfast was the same everyday - idlis, Vada and dosa - acquired from a neighbouring (roadside) shop. Regarding location, it is not ideal for those who want quick access to Kanyakumari beach. It is about a kilometre to the main road - and from there another 1.5km to the beach or boat jetty. Umaiyyal Home Stay has a decent car park to fit about 6-7 hatchbacks. That is a plus. Overall, I would recommend this place only as options 2 or 3. There are better hotels around.
Stay was pleasant and they offered complementary breakfast. But after having breakfast, they charged for tea - saying the tea is not free. A small cup of tea was charged 30Rupees. Hotel stay is good but would not recomend food. And make sure the deal is finalised from booking.com before you checkin
