Nice school....bt the benches and desks needs to b repaired in some classes....and toilets need to b more clean and maintained...otherwise it's one of the oldest school in dibrugarh ...
Bengali High School was established in 1918 by Dr Phani Ghosh & others and had since then a leading Bengali medium school in the town of Dibrugarh. The school once marked excellent results in Matriculation Exam as well as the HSLC Exam. In fact, it was a pride of the entire district of the then Lakhimpur. The writer of this note passed the HSLC Exam in 1964. I lay my sincere pranams to this Alma Mater !!.
