One of the best place to enjoy the valley view point. In winter season sun sets very soon so if you are planning for sun set view try to be there before 4pm to enjoy the glorious sun setting behind the lovely hills. There is an entry fee and proper vehicle parking facilities are available. Small shops are there for food craving and toilet facilities also available.
Very good place on the way to Cherrapunji; the place is about an hour's ride from Shillong. Beautiful sights of mountains awash with greenery, a narrow valley and misty clouds. The beauty is best just after the monsoons. The place also has a reliable zip-line service (they have been doing it for over 5 years). You get to cross the valley and to the mountain on the other side of the valley on the zip-line. The last and the longest zip-line is truly an experience to cherish and remember for life. Decent eating places are abundant near the site as well.
Was surprised to see a big services complex develop here since my last visit about a decade ago. Was sad to see another piece of hill cut for it. Tourism is fine. We really need to consider the environmental cost of it and whether it's all worth it.
This place's natural beauty is very beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍. Even the world's best camera cannot capture it's real beauty 😍😍. You can do zip lining here if you want to. I suggest if you afford zip lining physically and financially you must do it. because it will add a great experience in your life 🙂🙂. In this place also have a natural falls if you want to see the fall you need to get down like 200 ft but one you reach there you will see a very placenta place
Astonishing, one of the best valley I have ever visited. Zip wiring experience was awesome.. you tend to stay there all day.. Very beautiful valley 😍
