I reached my hometown with family, in COVID time from Delhi. Liked this part of Northeren Himalayan town, Yamkeshwar , Uttrakhand, Himalayas, very much, it is my village, and start sending pics, vids to my friends on social media. An now , whoever comes to me I takes him to Mahabgarh temple for sure. why ? because this place is the most charming place ever, - it is astonishing , miraculous . Around this temple lies Ashram's of many many saints like Rishi Guautam, Bhrigu, Vashisht , Kapil, Charak, Kanva, Markand and so many. This is a beutiful place. with one side you can see the Ganges River coming down hills to the plains of Haridwar, on the other side you can look at long lines of hills and snow convered Himalayan peaks, on one side is Elephant shaped hill, actually the hill on which the temple is constructed is look alike an elephant , with the temple mounted on the back of the animal. it is the highest peak here. For relegious people it is very good because, Local Pandits, do the Pooja Cermoney for the visitors. There is a statue of Shiva, Mother godess Durga and God Hanuman, it is beleived that when someone comes here with full faith, God grants him Wishes, and also warns him to do anything bad which hurts the mankind.
