Recpection cant do their job properly. Took 6 months of calling to find out how to get medical history moved to a new clinic and being told it will be done by them, just for it to never happen or explained a signed form needs to be submitted. 6 months, over 12 calls, and not a single receptionist brings up the fact that form is required. Should have just done their job myself and use Google search.
I have regularly attended this clinic for approximately 6 years now. I love the staff and doctors and nurses they are fantastic. Today I was abhorred at being told I was not allowed to have a Covid-19 test there as I am not Aboriginal, although my partner is, despite having had 3 other tests there previously. I am a regular patient so they usually have no problem with my Medicare card and charging fees to that. I am not a racist person person at all. It hit me very hard being discriminated like that. I feel for any person being discriminated against for whatever reason. 😪
Quick, efficient and friendly healthcare for our mob! The doctors and staff go above and beyond to make sure our people are being taken care of. It feels like I'm walking into a medical facility full of family. I used to be hesitant to go to the doctors/dentist but these mob make it a less daunting experience. Love the VAHS and everything they represent!
I’m going to preface this by saying this is the first review I’ve ever written online. The receptionist was one of the most rude customer service staff I’ve ever spoken to. Rejecting my request for a COVID vaccine because I didn’t have proper documentation to prove I am aboriginal. When my friend was able to go in and get get vaccinated when she was not aboriginal at all.
They don’t do covid tests on the weekends, this information is not on their website. Would have been nice to know this before driving all the way there on a Saturday. Guy at the front was kind though.
