Beautiful Roman Catholic church. Mammoth structure , plenty of wood works, intricate paintings On the walls & even the ceilings. Place of devotion where Miracles have taken place, Mother Mary had made herself visible to a milk boy...There is a huge huge awesome statue of Jesus Christ in pristine white that's 78 meters high
The place should be like a holy place, instead its moreover like a business and leisure place for most people coming there. Most rituals are seemed different and not as per the biblical way. Its changed a lot from a church to a business (Just my thought when I visited now may be its only for me). The new church and the meditation place was good.
Holy place...I have never seen such a big church. Which is famous as Lady of Good Health. Many people around county and some people from other countries also used to visit this shrine. Famous in India especially for South Indian people. Which was very near to beach. Many masses will conduct on a same day in different languages.
Wish to visit every year.
The Basilica looks great from the outside. No words can describe its beauty. One stands mesmerized at the white colored Church attracting faithful followers from all denominations of Christianity and other religions too. One should not miss the masses here. At 10 am, they have an English mass, and they list out the mass timings for other languages, on big blue boards. Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, has a certain feeling to it, that only faithfuls can understand. From the inside, it might look different from the Churches in other parts of India. The ceilings have lot of paintings from Jesus's life- worth noticing.
