We went to Ramghat 2 days after Diwali. Like all religious places in India, cleanliness is a big problem here too. Commendable efforts have been made by the present government to make the ghat beautiful. By the time we reached it was night, the atmosphere was very beautiful due to the lights all around. Vehicle parking is a problem.
Unforgettable experience ... awesome atmosphere and must try colorful boating...boat ppl charge too much.. you have to bargain with at least 50% of their offer. Find a local tour guide ..that will save lot of time and will provide details of each place on the ghat...
