Don Bosco higher secondary school was established in Pannur in 1958 (tamil medium). There is an elementary school for boys and girls. The first SSLC batch passed out in 1962. Very Discipline school (Discipline plays an important role in building a nation & has a good impact on children's mind too) also we learn Agriculture and sports from this school . many youngsters from this school working as teachers and government services like army, navy, air force, police , lawyer, and ext.,. Since the 1990s, many youngsters acquired professional degrees, Engineers and Doctors and joined the services of leading software and corporate companies. This led to migration to cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Baroda, Delhi, etc., And many people have migrated to US, UK, Australia, Ireland, Dubai, Middle East, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Singapore, etc. For me this a Best school around Tiruvallur District.
