I want to share this with each and every individual planning to get Tata AIG health insurance that please read their sections where they have written the medical and non medical exclusions carefully. You will find that almost A to Z health problems have been excluded from the health insurance policy and that is the only game this company is playing to loot the money from the customers. I have read each and every detail from the policy as my wife was admitted in the hospital and when I claimed to get the benefits there one most interesting reason was the "WAITING TIME" They rejected my claim with a reason that the waiting time for that particular problem under section 3 of the policy is two years. That means either I will have to initiate the problem prior two years or will have to wait for that particular treatment for two years. When I read the policy completely I came to know that almost all the health problems were enlisted in that particular section and the rest of the problems were excluded. Now when I tried to connect with the so called best in class customer service of the company they said that as I had agreed to the terms and conditions and signed the policy so I am not supposed to claim it now. That is one of the most important mistake we usually do while buying the health insurance. So if you are reading the reviews to get the idea of how Tata AIG insurance is so please read this honest review before buying. I have collected all the documents as well so that I could forward them to IRDAI grievance cell for further action. I am not at all satisfied with the companies policy and it is just a waste of money.
Should continue to receive insurance payments in Office in cash/paytm also as before rather than diverting to camp in Capri . Staff here is very cooperative.
